5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND OPPORTUNITIES IN YOUR WHEELCHAIR

In this chapter we will explore all the possibilities that you have with your wheelchair. All options will be discussed,

but all use instructions such as the removal of the footrest.

Your wheelchair is an Excel G5 ® 200. The Excel ® 200 G5 consists in the following versions:

- Excel ® 200 G5 'Budget'

- Excel ® 200 G5 'Active'

- Excel ® 200 G5 'Comfort'

All these detailed models are available in self propel and transit wheel versions, see Section 2.2 for further

explanation on this. You can find details about your wheelchair on the label on the cross brace where you can see

the exact specifications. Further on in this chapter are details about specific options referring to the different

versions.





5.1 Tools and technical information

For the maintenance of your wheelchair, in some cases, you need tools. For your wheelchair the following tools are

required: -

Phillips screwdriver PH2

Allen keys 4, 5 and 6 mm

Cross-ring or keys 8, 10, 13 and 26 mm

Spanners 19 and 22 mm

Socket wrench 19 mm

Excel ® 200 G5 'Budget' & Excel ® 200 G5 'Active'

Seat widths 35, 37 ½, 40, 42 ½, 45, 50 and 55 cm

Seat depths 43 and 46 cm

Seat heights 43, 45, 47, 50, 52 and 54 cm

Backrest height 42 ½, 45 ½ and 47 cm (adjustable)

Total width 17 cm + seat width

Total length > 103 cm

Total height > 95 cm

Folded width 31 cm

Weight (complete) 13.9 kg (transit rear wheel: 13.5 kg)

Transport Weight 8.4 kg

Maximum User Weight 130 kg (150 kg in seat width 50cm and 55cm)
